• SK police say investigation into hospital bomb threat call remains open (independentri.com) — North Kingstown police were among 75 officers who rushed to South County Hospital Monday after a phoned bomb threat claimed explosives and an assault rifle on site. The hospital was locked down, patients were diverted, and two sweeps found no danger, but South Kingstown police say the investigation into the out-of-area phone number is still active.
