• Lawsuit against North Providence mayor will proceed (turnto10.com) — A judge has ruled that a lawsuit against North Providence Mayor Charles Lombardi and the town, brought by former public works employee Michael Charbatji, can move forward. Some claims against the town and another official were dismissed, but key allegations about Charbatji performing work at the mayor's private properties while on town time will proceed, which could have financial and political implications for local government.
