• North Providence Council Seeks Lawyer on Storage Facility (upriseri.com) — North Providence residents should know the Town Council has hired an outside land‑use attorney to independently review how a controversial Douglas Avenue storage facility was approved, while also backing a state road program that could fund about $700,000 in paving for a $232,000 town share. Councilors also heard a major Fruit Hill Avenue drainage update and took actions on business licenses, the former public safety building, and school tree buffers.
   

• It was a busy Tuesday night of high school sports in RI. Here's who won (providencejournal.com) — North Providence athletes were busy Tuesday, with the town's teams dropping contests to Burrillville and Classical but remaining active across multiple sports. The roundup also lists upcoming matchups where North Providence squads will travel to Ponaganset and Tiverton, alongside dozens of other Rhode Island high school results and schedules from soccer, volleyball, tennis, and field hockey.
