MA Man Charged With Possessing Crack Cocaine In North Smithfield: Cops
He was pulled over on Route 146, police said.
NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI — A North Smithfield man was charged with possessing crack cocaine, police said.
Nicholas Stevens, 40, was pulled over and arrested on Route 146 in North Smithfield shortly before 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Stevens was processed state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions "where he was held pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court where he will be presented as a probation violator," the release said.
