Woonsocket Man Wanted On Felony Assault Charge Nabbed: Cops
He was arrested by the Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man wanted on a charge of felony assault was apprehended, police said.
Tyrell Goncalves, 32, was arrested Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the state police said in a media release.
The charge was in connection with a Providence Police Department case, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force," the release said. "Mr. Goncalves was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department."
