Here are the top stories today in Pawtucket:

  1. The City of Pawtucket will be opening operational All Safe stations on Jan. 3. This comes after completing all training with Gateway Health and Pawtucket Public Safety team. Individuals can go to any Pawtucket Fire Station, where a member of the fire department will conduct a health assessment. (WLNE-TV (ABC6))
  2. State health officials in Rhode Island reported to the federal government Dec. 29 that approximately 87 percent of inpatient beds and 93 percent of intensive care unit beds in hospitals across the state were occupied. Around 13 percent of inpatient beds and 35 percent of ICU beds statewide were filled by COVID-19 patients, they reported. (Pawtucket Patch)
