1. Pawtucket Man Pleads Guilty To Robbing MA Stop & Shop (patch.com) — A Pawtucket man has pleaded guilty to robbing a Stop & Shop in Attleboro, a day after he robbed a Stop & Shop in his hometown, and will serve five years of supervised probation for the Massachusetts crime. He previously received a six-year sentence, with nine months to serve, for the Pawtucket robbery, after police linked him to both incidents through surveillance, clothing, and a recovered robbery note.    

2. State's energy-efficiency rebate program for home electrification, appliances expanded (pbn.com subscription) — Pawtucket residents can now tap into an expanded state rebate program that helps low- and moderate-income households pay for efficient appliances, wiring upgrades, and electric panels. The pilot covers up to 100% or 50% of costs, depending on income, but you must apply and be approved before buying anything or scheduling work.    

3. Bicyclist injured after crash in Pawtucket (turnto10.com) — A bicyclist was hurt Tuesday morning in a crash with a vehicle near 560 Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the driver stayed at the scene, is cooperating, and no criminal charges have been filed as the investigation continues.    

4. Sen. DiPalma and Rep. Ackerman Receive Champion of Youth Award From RI Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs for Advocacy on Behalf of Youth (newportthisweek.com) — Pawtucket’s Boys & Girls Club was among several Rhode Island clubs spotlighted as state lawmakers were honored for championing youth programs at the State House. Local Youth of the Year nominees, including one from Pawtucket, shared how club experiences shaped their leadership, education, and future goals while meeting directly with legislators.    

5. Pawtucket man dies after crash on I-95 south in North Attleborough (turnto10.com) — A 48-year-old Pawtucket man, Julio Flores, died after being struck while outside his crash truck during a late-night collision on I-95 south in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries and passed away Monday night as state police continue investigating the multi-vehicle crash.
