The Gamm Theatre Names Three Fellows for Season 42 (broadwayworld.com) β Two of the Gamm Theatre's new fellows either live in Pawtucket or grew up here, bringing local talent into the company's 2026β27 season-long training program. These emerging artists of color will receive stipends, mentoring, and hands-on roles in productions and education work, offering a clear pathway from Pawtucket to professional theater careers just down the road.

Woman arrested on DUI charge in West Warwick (newportdispatch.com) β A 37-year-old Pawtucket woman was arrested on Route 95 in West Warwick and charged with first-offense DUI, reckless driving, and refusing a chemical test before being released with a court date. State Police also arrested a Woonsocket man in a separate West Greenwich stop, underscoring stepped-up enforcement on nearby highways used daily by Pawtucket drivers.

RISP Warwick Arrests Sept. 1-9: DUIs, Conspiracy (warwickpost.com) β Rhode Island State Police report several recent Warwick-area arrests, including a Pawtucket woman picked up on a Warwick warrant for shoplifting and misdemeanor conspiracy. Troopers also detailed multiple DUI stops over Labor Day weekend, highlighting continued enforcement on nearby roads that many Pawtucket residents regularly travel for work and errands.
