  1. The corner of Goff Avenue and Pine Street in Pawtucket now bears the name of a beloved community member, Armando Nieves. A plaque that sits on the corner is dedicated to the memory of the long-time owner of Armando and Sons Meat Market, who passed away at age 70 in 2019. Nieves was described as a proud Puerto Rican and leader in the local Latino community. Family, friends, and local officials, including Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien and Senator Sandra Cano, gathered yesterday at the Market to dedicate the plaque. (WJAR)
  2. Have you seen this Pawtucket pup? The owner of a dog who was in the back seat of her stolen vehicle is offering a $5,000 reward for the safe return of her beloved 9-year-old Yorkie, Casanova. (WPRI.com)
  3. Bring your little ones to the Pawtucket Public Library at 11:00 a.m. today for a fun Pumpkin Decorating event! Children and their families are invited to come to the library and decorate pumpkins any way they wish and take home their creations. Masks are required. (Pawtucket Public Library)
