- This Saturday, Nov. 13, Stillwater Books on Main Street, Pawtucket is hosting a reading and book signing with Brian Power, author of "A Chance To Serve." A Rhode Island native and U.S. Marine veteran, Lt. Col. Power wrote his memoir to chronicle his 25-plus years with the Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserves. The timely book signing is happening just after the 246th birthday of the United States Marine Corps (Nov. 10) and Veterans Day (Nov. 11). (Patch)
- The Pawtucket Special Education Advisory Council invites families of students with special needs to join its Committee Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Council will be discussing the purpose of the SEAC and how it can support students and their families. The meeting will take place at the Joseph Jenks Middle School media center (350 Division St.) (Pawtucket School Department)
- Drop by the Pawtucket Public Library at 10:30 this morning with your toddler for a fun and engaging Story Time activity! Children ages 2-3 years old and their adult caregivers are invited to the library for stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft to share social reading fun together.
