- A drink on the menu at Smug Brewing Company in Pawtucket, Rhode Island is gaining a lot of popularity these days, and not because of its good taste. The brewing company is poking fun at Tom Brady and his return by bringing back a drink, Traitorade, it unveiled when he left back in March. (WESH2)
- Multiple people were arrested following a night of out-of-control college parties that saw police across the city called in to disperse large crowds of people in numerous locations. Providence Police received more than twenty calls for reports of disturbances. According to the police, they were met by hostile crowds and had bottles thrown at them. In one incident, police say one man arrested hurled the n-word at two officers. Dylan Curran, age 22, was arrested at one scene after reportedly calling two officers the n-word. (GoLocalProv)
- Providence Police are investigating a double shooting that happened early Sunday morning.
According to police, it happened at 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning on Glasgow Street. (WLNE-TV (ABC6)) - The Providence Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of their own. Lieutenant Christopher Jannitto, a Warren native and thirty-year veteran of the department, died Friday after a battle with cancer. (WLNE-TV (ABC6))
- Providence police are investigating what they say was a serious stabbing in the city early Saturday morning. The police responded to the 400 block of Charles Street for a report of a stabbing where they found a male victim severely stabbed in the leg. (GoLocalProv)
