Join us Thursday September 24 at 5:00 pm for Teen Center Movie Night at the Pawtucket Public Library. Teens will be watching Project Hail Mary. We will have free snacks and water available. This is a Teen event designed for ages 12-18 and/or grades 6-12. Registration is encouraged to receive an email reminder, but is not required. Please direct any questions or concerns to the Teen Librarian by calling (401) 725-3714 ext. 235 or emailing at jmcgrath@pawtucketlibrary.org. 
The Teen Center at Pawtucket Public Library is open Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays from 1-4:45 pm.Teens are welcome to visit to do homework, hang out, play board and video games, charge their phones, and use the iMac Creation Station for audio, video, and photo editing.

Urban Perinatal Education Center

Join us for an event around what does it look like to build a free-standing birth center, sign up for policy support with the RI Coalition to Improve RI Maternal Care. Learn about initiatives to build up out of hospital Midwifery care.&nbsp;Because Rhode Island currently does not have freestanding, out-of-hospital birth centers, local advocates and midwives use this week to educate the public on community birth options, homebirth resources, and hospital-based alternatives while working toward expanding local perinatal infrastructure

Drop in Wednesday September 16 anytime from 3-8 pm (set aside 5-30 minutes depending on design) to paint a rock! You can paint a kindness rock with an encouraging message, or you can paint whatever you like. Please dress in clothes that you are okay with staining. This is a Teen event designed for ages 12-18 and/or grades 6-12. Registration is not required, but you can register to receive an email reminder. Drop in Tuesday September 22 from 3-5 pm in the Teen Center for the FSA ID Workshop! Get prepared for submitting your FAFSA with Gina Rigby from College Bound Citizens. At this workshop you will create your FSA ID, familiarize yourself with the Student Aid website, and have an opportunity to ask questions with a professional. This is a Teen event designed for teens getting ready to apply to college. Registration is not required. Snacks will be provided.
