🌱 CPU Volunteers At Turkey Drive + Senior Shoveling Program

  1. Members of the local Community Policing Unit (CPU) teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket to package and deliver holiday meals throughout the community. Volunteers worked tirelessly during the Thanksgiving Distribution and the Holiday Basket Drive to ensure families in need had a delicious and filling dinner to celebrate this week.   2. After a pandemic hiatus last year, Pawtucket's Youth-to-Senior Shoveling Program is back on for this winter. The city and Pawtucket School Department will be working to match dedicated youth volunteers with senior citizens from the Pawtucket community who need help in shoveling their stairs and sidewalks. Requests are now being accepted from senior citizens who wish to be placed on the match list. (Valley Breeze)
