Good morning, people of Pawtucket! It's me again, Nicole Fallon-Peek, your host of the Pawtucket Daily.

First, today's weather:

Mostly cloudy and windy. High: 50 Low: 28.

Here are the top stories in Pawtucket today:

  1. Pawtucket police are investigating a recent break-in at Olly's Pizza on Broad Street and are asking for the public's help. At least four suspects broke into the pizzeria overnight on Saturday, Nov. 13 and made off with a large safe, according to police. Police have recently released surveillance images of some of the suspects, as well as the red Chevrolet sedan they used to flee the scene. Anyone with information about the suspects should contact Detective Justin Gould at (401) 727-9100 ext. 723 or jgould@pawtucketpolice.com. (WPRI.com)
  2. Pawtucket school bus drivers with Teamsters Local 251 held an informational picket yesterday to bring attention to the contract issues they've been experiencing for the last year. The primary point of contention is wages, with demonstrators seeking a raise from First Student to meet rising costs of living. While bus drivers and monitors are still on the job, the group has voted to authorize a strike if need be. (WJAR)
  3. The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket held its 121st Annual Meeting at the Pawtucket Country Club this week. The organization recognized several Board members, Trustees, and staff for their commitment to serving youth in the local community, and welcomed three new Board members and three new Trustees. Heading into 2022, the Club says it looks forward to "building back better" and providing youth with a safe, positive environment that promotes academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.
