  1. A Pawtucket home was damaged by a kitchen fire on Thursday evening. The fire broke out on the second floor of a multi-family home on Dunnell Avenue and left 10 displaced. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. (WPRI.com)
  2. As the Rhode Island Professional Soccer Club prepares for its inaugural season at Tidewater Stadium in Pawtucket, it has launched social media accounts to keep fans up to date. The club's new accounts went live on Friday morning under the handles @RI_ProSoccer on Instagram and Twitter, and @RhodeIslandProSoccer on Facebook. The new stadium, currently being constructed on the National Grid site along the Seekonk River, is scheduled to open in 2023. (What's Up Newp)
  3. Army Veteran Francis "Frank" D. Farrington, 87, of Pawtucket passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. After serving in Korea in the United States Army, Farrington worked for the U.S. Post Office for 31 years. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews. (GoLocalProv)
