  1. Four people were removed from a car in Pawtucket after a serious two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening. The crash happened at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Weeden Street, Reservoir Avenue, and Elder Street. No further information about the accident has been released at this time. (WJAR)
  2. Three Rhode Island bank employees and eight others were indicted yesterday in alleged counterfeit checks and bank fraud schemes, including three Pawtucket residents. According to the allegations in the indictments, four defendants participated in one scheme that defrauded banks for approximately one year beginning in April 2020, and the other seven participated in an unrelated scheme that defrauded banks for approximately 14 months beginning in January 2020. The indictment charges each defendant with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, with several other defendants receiving additional related charges. (Go Local Prov)
  3. With federal health officials formally expanding COVID-19 booster eligibility to all fully vaccinated adults on Monday, Governor Dan McKee and the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) are urging all fully vaccinated adults who plan to gather with family and friends on Thanksgiving to get booster doses as soon as possible. There is an ample supply of COVID-19 vaccine booster doses in Rhode Island. With the exception of clinics at schools for children 5 to 11 years old, booster doses are available at all locations where first and second doses of vaccine are available. (Johnston Sun Rise)
