- Following Sabina Matos's announcement that she has tested positive for COVID-19, the Rhode Island Lieutenant Governor urges all eligible residents to get vaccinated and boosted. She reminded residents of several state-wide vaccine clinics happening today (Dec. 29), including ones at Northern Plaza and McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. (NBC Boston)
- Fully Rooted Juice has opened its first-ever self-serve kiosk inside Wildflour Vegan Bakery in Pawtucket. These cold-pressed juice beverages, which are also available via pop-ups and delivery across the state, are in high demand in cafes and markets, thanks to the recent juicing craze. "Self-serve kiosks allow us the ability to continuously maintain control over our juices and allow us the ability to grow beyond deliveries and farmers markets," said Fully Rooted co-owner Amanda Repose.
