Pawtucket Man Charged With Indecent Solicitation Of Child: Cops

The Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested the Pawtucket man, police said.

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket man was charged with the indecent solicitation of a child, police said.

Sean Cassidy, 53, was also arrested on charges of child endangerment and simple assault, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Cassidy was arrested Friday by the state police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the release said.

Cassidy was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and taken and arraigned in Sixth Division District Court, according to the release.

"Bail was set at $10,000 with surety with the special condition of no contact with the victim," the release said.
