🌱 Police Can't Confirm Bennett Sightings + Tree Photo Contest

Here are the top stories in Pawtucket today:
- Pawtucket police have been unable to confirm reported sightings of Donna Bennett, a 43-year-old local woman who has been missing since Nov. 10. On Wednesday, authorities had released new surveillance photos of Bennett from the day she disappeared. Since then, they have received calls from people who thought they saw her in Providence, Warren, and North Attleboro, but the reports have been unsubstantiated thus far. Pawtucket police continue to urge the public to contact Detective Craig Letourneau at (401) 727-9100 ext. 818 or at cletourneau@pawtucketpolice.com with information about Bennett's current location. - The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket is holding a Holiday Tree Photo Contest for local residents who take a photo in front of its Slater Park holiday tree and house. Now through Jan. 7., you can snap a photo of you or your family and friends in front of the display and tag the Club on Facebook to be entered into a raffle. The winner will be announced on the final day of the contest. (Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket)
- The Community Players, Rhode Island's oldest community theater, held auditions this week for the world premiere of "A Tree Falls In Brookline" at Jenks Auditorium in Pawtucket. The play will be produced from Feb. 18 through 27 as part of the theater's 100th-anniversary celebration. (The Westerly Sun)
