  1. An investigation is underway after a large-scale marijuana-growing operation was found inside a former theater building in Pawtucket. Firefighters responded to the Exchange Street building Monday evening after a fire alarm went off inside. Crews forced their way into the supposedly empty building then called police after making the discovery. (WPRI.com)
  2. Dozens of detainees and a handful of staff members at the Wyatt Detention Center have tested positive for COVID-19 this week, according to a statement from warden Daniel Martin. So far, 50 detainees and seven staff members have tested positive. Vaccinations have been available to staff members and detainees at Wyatt since January. (The Providence Journal)
  3. Brown University is set to reopen its dining facilities this morning after rising COVID-19 cases on campus triggered a short-term closure early last week. University vice president Russell C. Carey said other restrictions instituted in response to increased COVID-19 cases will remain in effect. (The Providence Journal)
