  1. A weekend motorcycle crash tore up the front lawn of a Pawtucket home on Power Road and left the driver injured. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday and damaged a vehicle on the property. The motorcyclist was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for unknown injuries. Police have not released further information at this time. (WJAR)
  2. On Saturday, children at Hasbro Children's Hospital received a special delivery of donated art supplies from Emerson, a young cancer survivor who wants to share her love of arts and crafts with other pediatric patients. During Emerson's 2019 stay at Hasbro Children's Hospital, which is operated by the Pawtucket-based toy company, she befriended local police officer Jennifer Fonseca, who started the "Art for Emerson" drive in her honor. This year was the biggest turnout yet, thanks to the participation of the South Kingston and Providence Police Departments, Mansfield Fire Department, and Ocean State Transit. (WPRI.com)
