- New details have been released about a Pawtucket shooting that took place in the 100 block of Carnation Street late Sunday night. Police have identified the male victim as Jovani L. Velez, a 28-year-old resident of Cumberland. Velez was transported to a local hospital after authorities found him suffering from a gunshot wound, and later died there from his injuries. - Celebrating Valentine's Day in Pawtucket? Between now and Feb. 15, you can visit White Dog Distilling to try two decadent seasonal moonshines: the HOWLIN' Cherry Chocolate and HOWLIN' Chocolate Peanut Butter. Alecia Catucci, who co-owns the Mineral Spring Avenue micro-distillery with her husband Carlo, told Providence Online that these delicious concoctions were chocolate born from popular cocktails in the White Dog Distilling tasting room. "We thought if our spirit family liked the cocktail, they may enjoy it as a moonshine!" said Catucci. (Providence Online)
