Son Of Ice Rink Mass Shooter Sends Team To Championship With Game-Winning Goal: Reports
The teen's mother, brother and grandfather were killed by his father, who took his own life.
The son of the Pawtucket ice rink mass shooter sent his hockey team to the championship with a double-overtime game-winning goal, according to reports.
"The Rhode Island hockey player whose family was gunned down by his deranged trans father during one of his games last month scored the winning goal to send his team to the championship — as he honored his slain relatives," the New York Post said of Blackstone Valley School’s star captain Colin Dorgan.

"Colin, who attends North Providence High School, plays for the Blackstone Valley Co-Op team. Colin scored on a breakaway in double overtime to lift Blackstone to a 3-2 victory over Portsmouth," WCVB reported.

Robert Dorgan, 56, shot and killed his ex-wife, Rhonda Dorgan, her son Aiden Dorgan, and Colin's grandfather Gerald Dorgan.
Robert Dorgan, who also went by the name Stephanie Esposito, turned the gun on himself and took his own life.

Robert Dorgan also shot and wounded family friend Thomas Geruso.
Colin Dorgan's family was watching him play at Dennis M. Lynch Hockey Arena when Robert Dorgan carried out his killing spree.

"Dorgan put Blackstone Valley Schools into the Division II championship game when he scored the game-winning goal in double overtime against Portsmouth," per Fox News. "The team won the game, 3-2."
"It was the greatest moment of my life,” Colin Dorgan told WPRI.
