  1. Pawtucket drivers have been (dis)honored as Rhode Island state's "rudest drivers," according to Insurify.com data. Based on public driver data collected when drivers apply for car insurance, just over 25 Pawtucket residents per 1,000 have received citations for rude behavior on the road like failure to yield, passing where prohibited, tailgating, and street racing — 23 percent higher than the state average.   2. Rhode Island teachers were honored at Saturday's WaterFire event in Providence. The Rhode Island Department of Education recognized district teachers of the year in a ceremony at Waterplace Park. Teachers were asked to carry torches down to the park to light the bonfires. (WJAR)
  3. A liquor store on Plainfield Street in Providence was robbed at gunpoint. Victims reported that the suspect wore a purple hoodie, black mask, and gloves. The suspect took $300 to 400 in cash and remains at large. (The Providence Journal)
  4. The city of Providence hosted a St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday to honor the fire service. (WJAR)
  5. Providence police are investigating two shots-fired incidents that occurred last Friday. Shell casings were discovered near Billy Taylor Park and damage was done to the front window and door at a Providence fire station. (The Providence Journal)
