  1. The YMCA of Pawtucket announced its Reset Challenge for all ages. The challenge is a three-week event that includes free visits to "Try the Y." Success stories and motivation will be shared along the journey via a free virtual program. Those who are eager to sign up need to do so by Feb. 1. (Valley Breeze)
  2. The Pawtucket City Council has handed down punishments to the International Club and Billar on Barton Street. The punishments come in the form of busy weekend closures in response to reportedly running a 'bad business' according to Council members. Members are worried the business is giving Pawtucket a negative reputation. (Valley Breeze)
  3. Pawtucket-based Hasbro has relinquished the super-profitable rights to Disney Princess and "Frozen" characters to toy company Mattel. Hasbro originally took the rights from Mattel in 2016 to the tune of $440 million. (NY Post)
