25 Portsmouth Roads Set for Paving over Next Three Weeks

Paving crews will be out starting Wednesday and will spend the next three weeks on more than two-dozen local roads.

Great news if you live along one of the roads. Bad news if you aren’t willing to expect a delay here or there as workers do their jobs.

Signs are being posted on the roads due for paving and police details and Department of Public Works personnel will be on site to manage traffic.

Here’s a list of roads:

1. McCorrie Lane (from Linda Terrace to end)
2. Annette Drive
3. Steward Drive
4. William Street
5. Windstone Drive
6. Athena Terrace
7. Julia Court
8. Anthony Road (State garage to the railroad bridge and Island Road to Mount View Road)
9. Mount View Road
10. North Water Street
11. Summit Road
12. Narragansett Road
13. Sakonnet Drive
14. Massasoit Avenue
15. Wentworth Terrace
16. Anchor Drive
17. Sloop Drive
18. Schooner Drive
19. Soares Drive
