3 RI Men Accused Of Voter Fraud In 2020 Election

The men voted in Rhode Island, but prosecutors said two of the men voted in Florida as well, and the other cast a ballot in Illinois.

RHODE ISLAND — Three Rhode Island men participated in mail-in ballot voter fraud during the 2020 election, according to federal prosecutors.

Jimmy McRoy and Robert Nickerson, both of Newport County and Paul Krikorian, of Washington County, were charged with two counts of mail-ballot fraud. Federal prosecutors said the men voted twice in different states.

Prosecutors said McRoy voted in Portsmouth and Farmerville, Illinois. Nickerson voted in Portsmouth and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, while Krikorian voted in Narragansett and Vero Beach, Florida, according to federal prosecutors.

The three men are scheduled to be arraigned on May 16.
