Dr. Michael Kenfield, who originally opened the clinic in 1979, partnered with Dr. Gary O'Neal 16 years ago to build the practice to where it is today.

Typical patients at this thriving clinic include mostly dogs and cats, with dogs only slightly edging out cats in visits.  The doctors also tend to the small, fuzzy variety of creatures like rabbits, hamsters and mice.

With steadily increasing improvement in technology and education in veterinary medicine, Dr. Kenfield is pleased that they are providing more geriatric care to the senior set; whereas, in the past younger pets comprised the majority of their patients.

Exceptional patient care and client education are central to the clinic's mission. The staff always takes the time to teach their clients how to take the best possible care of their pets.  Always available to answer questions or concerns, they believe spending the time to educate pet owners is beneficial to everyone, especially the pet!

In fact, they are fortunate enough to have the ability to bring internal medicine specialists and a board certified surgeon directly into the clinic to assist when their expertise is required.  This is especially convenient for the client, who is spared the added headache of traveling to another facility for care.  The clinic also boasts the most up-to-date medical devices available including a digital x-ray machine, which is a sought after commodity in the area.
