AAA: Gas Prices Drop Another 3 Cents
According to AAA Southern New England, gas prices have decreased for the sixth week in a row.

For the sixth week in a row, gasoline prices in Rhode Island are down from the previous week, this time by an average of three cents per gallon, according to AAA Southern New England. Prices have fallen 26 cents over those six weeks.
AAA’s June 20 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.79 per gallon, down three cents from a week ago. The current price is 15 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.64. A year ago at this time, Rhode Island’s average price was $2.75.
The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 25 cents, from a low of $3.64 to a high of $3.89. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time.          Â
