• RI fugitive convicted of sexual assault to be sentenced this fall (wpri.com) — A long-time Rhode Island fugitive convicted of sexually assaulting a woman on his yacht while it was docked at a Portsmouth marina is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 2. Authorities recently captured the former anesthesiologist after more than two decades on the run, and he now faces a possible life sentence plus additional charges related to his flight.
