Hope Bridge. Officers also handled domestic vandalism, an incident on Prudence Island's Sandy Beach, and a case of providing alcohol to minors, giving residents a clear snapshot of current public safety issues.

β’ Obituary: Richard E. Farmer β What's Up Newp (newenglandnewspress.com) β Portsmouth residents are mourning Richard E. Farmer, a longtime educator and author who lived in town and passed away on September 3 at age 75. Remembered for his deep commitment to learning, faith, and helping others, he leaves family in Tiverton and Maine, with a celebration of his life planned in Portland, Maine on October 10.
