• Tiverton Schools Face $780,618 CTE Tuition Gap (upriseri.com) — A new state-mandated formula is sharply increasing what Tiverton must pay Portsmouth for each student attending Portsmouth's career and technical programs, and Portsmouth has already begun billing at the higher rate. Tiverton officials warn the change could trigger retroactive charges and note Portsmouth also gains state aid for each Tiverton student, while Tiverton loses aid, as they pursue an appeal and legislative fix.
