Portsmouth, RI-Â On August 30, 1952 Barbara and Edmond Travassos declared their love with an exchange of vows. Over 60 years later the two celebrated their union at Scampi Restaurant of Portsmouth, RI. The couple arrived at Scampi on a trolly surrounded by friends and family hosted by their children, Christine, Sue and Wayne. City councilor and life-long friend, Raymond A. Mitchell also presented Mr & Mrs. Travassos with several awards.
