Annie Becker Installed as NCBR 2017 President

Anne C. Becker has been installed as 2017 President of the Newport County Board of REALTORS®. She was sworn in on October 20th at the Board's Annual Meeting, Installation and Luncheon, which was held at the Newport Beach House in Middletown, RI. Annie is a Broker Associate with Lila Delman Real Estate in Newport, RI.

Annie has been a REALTOR® and member of the Newport County Board of REALTORS® since 2005, and has served the Newport County Board in many capacities, including President-Elect, Director and on the NCBR Strategic Planning Committee.

Other Newport County 2017 officers sworn in were Treasurer Noelle Shiland and Immediate Past President Stephen Antoni. Directors Juanita Aracil, Bob Bailey, Brian Russell, Cathy Wicks and Alyce Wright were also installed, as well as new Directors Jennifer Hilton and Bridgette Soby. Outgoing Director Belinda Nattress was honored for her service to the Board.

President Stephen Antoni presented a donation of $8,360 to his President's charity, Operation Stand Down RI. Accepting the donation were OSDRI President Anthony DeQuattro and Executive Director Eric Wallin.

The President's charities for 2017 are Clean Ocean Access and the Merritt Neighborhood Fund of the Aquidneck Land Trust.

Alyce Wright was honored as 2016 NCBR REALTOR® of the Year, Noelle Shiland received the 2016 Gloria Slavens Award, and Christon Gibson was also honored as NCBR's Affiliate of the Year.
