Portsmouth School Superintendant, Barbara McGann, was the winner of our “Polar Dive to End 375” donation contest, winning a dinner for four at Portsmouth’s 15 Point Road restaurant. The dinner was donated by Sean Smith, owner and manager of 15 Point Road, to support the 375th final event Pledge Dive into the Sakonnet River on 31 December, which helped raise money for the Portsmouth Library History Project. Superintendant McGann’s $500 donation was the largest single donation made. I presented the dinner card to Ms. McGann at her office earlier today.
