About the Aquidneck Cannons
WHAT ARE THE AQUIDNECK CANNONS
The Aquidneck Cannons Lacrosse Club (ACLC) is a comprehensive, developmental club lacrosse program for players committed to playing lacrosse at a high level. The mission of the program is to enhance our players lives through the sport of lacrosse, teaching teamwork, developing leaders, and building character.
We simply provide a more lacrosse, committed coaching staff, online video access for players and teams, at affordable prices. We are a US Lacrosse organization with access to all US Lacrosse has to offer including grants, training, insurance, and scholarships and financial aid for our players. Everyone Plays. Currently, the ACLC has established teams at the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades and high school teams in the summer. We believe the foundation of community lacrosse starts at the town level and ACLC teams and programs strives to compliment your local town programs to provide a higher level of coaching thru skills based development, field IQ and game strategy for those players looking for more.
We attribute our success to our coaching staff which consists of experienced volunteers, paid coaches, and guest clinic coaches that attend our camps and clinics throughout the year and our network of similarly minded club programs, secondary school and college coaches.
Each team will consist of highly experienced coaching staff.
Team rosters will consist of no more than 18-22 players to ensure ample playing time. (we tend to have a larger roster in the summer to allow for players who might be away or miss a tournament.)
We are committed to offer the highest level of communications throughout the season, to ensure that every coach, parent and player is informed of all club news and events.
