Calling hours will be held tonight for the late Craig Raposa, the Tiverton man who died of unknown causes following a . 

Raposa, 25, of 1 Mill St., Tiverton, died Feb. 3, 2012 unexpectedly, according to the Memorial Funeral Homes obituary. 

Born in Fall River, MA, on March 15, 1986, he was the son of Brenda L. Raposa of Portsmouth.

Craig graduated from in 2004 as an all-star athlete in football and baseball. He participated in Portsmouth Marty Fine Football and, while a Midget, won the 1998 state championship.

His love was baseball and he excelled playing first base for Portsmouth's Little League. He was well known for pitching and hitting home runs, which led him to participate in several All Star games which took the team to Cooperstown. His teammates called him "Tiny" and "Tiny Tank" due to his size and love of food.

Craig worked at while attending high school and Bristol Community College. He enjoyed working in the dairy and grocery departments. He worked for helping to build the outside patio of Subway on East Main Road. Craig loved to joke around and play video games with his friends.

He is also survived by his brother, Bryce Raposa of Fall River, MA; fiancée, Jessica Furtado; grandfather, James F Pimental; grandmother, Lucette Pimental of Tiverton; aunt, Christine Lemelin and husband Bill of Somerset, MA; and uncle Jim Pimental and wife, Wendy, and their children of Westport, MA. He is survived by several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, at Connor's Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road.

A Mass celebrating Craig's life will be said on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Craig's memorial service, payable to Brenda Raposa, 100 Almeida Terrace, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
