Comedy Night & BBQ Set for Friday at Common Fence Point Hall
The Melville School has all the Dads working the BBQ, and the proceeds go to raise money for the school.
PORTSMOUTH, RI—Melville Elementary School is hosting a Comedy Night Fundraiser at the Common Fence Point Hall this Friday, Jan. 28.
According to LeAnne West, president of the Parent Teachers Organization, it's a great deal.
Starting with the food, she said the meal is prepared by a group of Melville dads, " The Smoke Kings," who specialize in smoking meat and BBQ.

"It's sure to be some of the best BBQ you could ever eat," she said. Plus, they're throwing in a 50/50 raffle and four Valentine themed auction items.
And that's not even mentioning the show. Ticket holders are treated to three professional comedy acts provided by Funny for Fund$

The show starts at 8 and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $35 and include a BBQ dinner and bottle of water, BYOB 21+
