Paula Abdul Spotted at Local Mall

Were you exchanging gifts or shopping Monday night at Providence Place Mall? If so, you might have seen an American Idol — judge that is. 

Paula Abdul, former American Idol panelist and current judge on The X Factor, United States' version, was reportedly spotted Monday night at Providence Place Mall. 

David Beard of Tiverton, owner of  in Portsmouth, says he received a phone call Monday from his 21-year-old niece, Kelly Medeiros of Fall River. 

"She said, 'Mom, get on Facebook immediately.' My niece was standing there with her arm around Paula Abdul," Beard said.
