Portuguese:

  •  — Graziano's, located in Island Park, offers a Portuguese breakfast, as well as a unique sandwich called Tugboat, a specialty breakfast sandwich made with French Toast.

 

Asian/Seafood:

  • — Boss Man Burgers for seafood? That's right! Boss Man offers a Tuna Ahi burger with seared-rare tuna and ginger wasabi mayo. They also offer crab cakes, as well as the traditional burgers and hot dogs.

 

Middle Eastern:

  • — The "hummus and tabouli" wrap is one of the shop's best sellers, according to co-owner Mark Libby. The wrap offers a taste of the Middle East with a lemon-flavor tabouli, fresh lettuce and an abundance of hummus.

 

Indian:

  • — You may have driven by the sign or seen the Facebook posts, but did you know the Green Grocer offers ready-to-eat, hot Indian entrees? From chicken tikka to saag paneer, Indian entrees are available to pick up for lunch or dinner every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 7 p.m.

 

Vegetarian:

  • — OK, while "vegetarian" is not a nationality, there are many cultures throughout the world who withstand from the carnivore diet. Melville Grille offers several options for the vegetarian, including a Farmers Market Chili complete with veggies, beets, kidney beans, chick peas and "just the right spice," according to its menu.

 

Portsmouthian or Portsmouthite (no one really knows for sure!):

  • — To view a photographic history of the town or to order some meals with locally-inspired names, head over to the Fieldstones Grille. The menu offers locally-named dishes, such as Island Park Pasta, The Bristol Ferry and the "Sakonnet River Bake" (a fish dish).
