District Court: Portsmouth Woman Ordered to Pay Court Costs
The following actions took place Thursday, Feb. 10, in Second District Court.

The following actions took place on Feb. 10, 2011 at Second District Court.
- A sentence was imposed against Evan Robert Edmonds, 23, of 121 Fir Ave., Tiverton, who was charged with driving a motor vehicle under a suspended license. Portsmouth police arrested Edmonds on Dec. 29. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was sentenced to pay a $350 fine plus court costs. The judge imposed no further loss of license.
- Sheri M. Aakre, 42, of 51 Leonard Drive, Tiverton, was arrested on Nov. 29 by Portsmouth police and charged with writing a fraudulent check up to $1,000. The charge was dismissed on Thursday.
- Samantha Ann Doyle, 18, of 40 Echo Lane, Portsmouth, was ordered to pay a fine of $218.50 on or before March 24. Doyle was arrested by Portsmouth police on Feb. 10 and charged with domestic vandalism. She was accused of damaging a plaster wall. She pleaded nolo contendere to the charge. She also pleaded no contest to the charge of disorderly conduct. She was sentenced to pay the fine, restitution and court fees.
- Charges against Brian P. Haggerty, 25, of 47 Heritage Drive, Portsmouth, were dismissed. Haggerty was arrested on Jan. 26 by Portsmouth police and charged with driving after suspension, revocation or cancellation of license. The charge was dismissed without costs.
- Charges against Georgiann F. Bothwell, 69, of 129 Ferry Landing Circle, Portsmouth, were dismissed in court Thursday. Bothwell was arrested on Oct. 26 by Portsmouth police and charged with passing a fraudulent check of up to $1,000.
- Charges against Daniel Elhami Kaldas, 22, of 271 Wood St., Bristol, were dismissed without costs. Kaldas was arrested on Feb. 4 by Portsmouth police and charged with operation of a foreign license during suspension.
