Escobar's Corn Maize Opens Today!

It's time to get lost in the Escobar family's 15th rendition of its popular corn maze.

Get lost!

And that’s the point at The Escobar Farm Corn Maze, which opens today.

It’s the 15th year for the popular corn maze and the eight-acres of corn this year will have a new, “mind-boggling design” that celebrates the Wizard of Oz’s 75th anniversary.

Though you can work your way through in less than 30 minutes if you’re a quick thinker and have excellent spatial memory, but for many, it’s going to take at least an hour to get through what adds up to two miles of twists and turns that spans two bridges and 85 places you’ll have to stop and decide: “which way do I go?”

The MAiZE runs from today (Aug. 22) through Nov. 2.

Hours are Monday thru Saturday 10:00 - dusk, Sundays 11:00 - dusk.

After Labor Day, hours are Fridays 3:30 - dusk, Saturdays 10:00 - dusk and Sundays 11:00 - dusk.

Field trip hours, during weekdays are available by reservation. The MAiZE is located at 255 Middle Road, Portsmouth, RI. Cost is $8.00 for ages 12 & up $6.00 for ages 5 - 11 and free for kids under 5. Discounts are available for civic groups and field trips.
