4th Annual Exhibit of The Island Photography Group at the Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2658 East Main Rd. The exhibit will be open during the library's regular hours except when the room is being used for meetings. Call the library at 683-9457 for more information. The opening reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Sept. 9. Refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome. The Island Photography Group is an informal association and is open to photographers of all skill levels. There are currently more than fifteen active participants. We meet every Thursday morning for breakfast. We share our pictures, exchange tips and advice, and have a good time. We frequently select a location for an hour or two of picture taking.
