Please join us on Sunday, December 5 at 5:15 PM at Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2658 East Main Road, Portsmouth, for the 27thAnnual Christmas Tree Lighting program.  This special holiday program will include entertainment by Portsmouth Middle School Chorus and Elite Academy of Dance. The tree lighting will take place when Santa Claus arrives at 6 PM. Santa will greet each child in the Library after the lighting and cocoa and cookies will be served. Bring a camera! The tree lights were put up this year thanks to members of the Portsmouth Lion's Club and the Portsmouth 4-H Club. The equipment was donated by Coastal Electric, Inc. This program is sponsored by Portsmouth Free Public Library.Â
