Dahlia Days at Green Animals

The bold colors and varied blooms of dahlias have graced the gardens at Green Animals Topiary Garden for more than a century. And thanks to the generous, annual donation of dahlia tubers by The Rhode Island Dahlia Society, this summer's display at Green Animals will be host to more than 200 plants, representing every class and size of this increasingly popular flower. During their peak in late summer, Green Animals' dahlias create a riot of dramatic color in shapes as varied as pom-poms, pinwheels, starfish and huge "dinner plates." While Green Animals is always beautiful, it is even more so when festooned in its late summer dahlias...come celebrate the season and be sure to bring your camera!
