Ernie's American Martial Arts will hold free Defeat the Bully Workshops on Thursdays throughout October.
Each workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. at 3001 East Main Road in the Portsmouth Plaza.
Master Virginia Amaral and Adam Oliver will instruct students on how to conquer bullying.

The following workshops will take place: a bully clinic for middle school students on Oct. 14; "Teens: A Different Kind of Bully, Text Education for Parents and the Effects of Cyber Bullying," Oct. 21; and "Adults Bullying in the Workplace," Oct. 28.
The workshops are free and open to the public.
