Have you ever wondered what it would take to create a hummingbird garden in your backyard? Join us at Portsmouth Free Public Library at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 24, as Linda Hall provides a bird's eye view on hummingbirds. She will discuss the plants necessary to attract hummingbirds and how to create a sustainable environment for them. Linda completed the URI Master Gardener course in 2010 and spends her time volunteering at Prescott Farm and the URI greenhouses. She presented her Hummingbird lecture at the 2010 Newport Flower Show. This program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited so please stop by or call the Library at 683-9457 to register.
