Indoor Gardening Program at Portsmouth Free Public Library

Do you miss the green of your garden and the smell of fresh dirt in your nose?  Visit Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2658 East Main Road, Portsmouth, on Tuesday, February 7 at 6:30 PM for URI Master Gardener Anna McLaughlin’s fix for the gardener’s blues.  Anna’s experience as a certified horticultural therapist, interior landscaper, and greenhouse operator will come into play as she demonstrates how to make a dish garden.  She will also talk about indoor plants and answer any questions you may have about indoor gardening.

Anna attended the University of Rhode and became a URI Master Gardener in 1983. She is a member of the Northeast Chapter of the American Horticultural Therapy
Association and the RI Nursery and Landscape Association.  Anna is a certified horticultural therapist.

This program is free and open to the public.  Seating is limited so please stop by or call the Library at 683-9457 to sign up for the program.
