The Newport County AARP meets today; new members are welcome but are asked to come early at 1:15 with an AARP card. All members are asked to bring canned goods for the AARP Pantry project.
Guest speaker is Theresa Buzman Stokes who will speak on Newport's cemeteries and black history.
