A MATTER OF TASTE: SERVING UP PAUL LIEBRANDT follows the uncompromising and immensely talented young chef over ten years as he nagivates through the cutthroat culinary world of New York City. Critic William Grimes likened to Paul to "a pianist who seems to have found a couple dozen extra keys." Conversely, Gourmet critic Jonathan Gold called Paul's food "the result of a failed science experiement." He soon became a chef critics loved or loved to hate. The film reveals the chef's creative process in the kitchen, as well as the extreme hard work, long hours and dedication it takes to be a successful culinary artist. Run time: 68 minutes.
